John McMahon is a partner at Kirwin Partners LLP. John has practised law since 1998, in all areas of corporate and commercial law as well as areas of real estate and property development. He advises individuals, management, and boards of directors on various corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, financing, shareholder agreements and operational issues, corporate due diligence and governance. John’s commercial practice focuses on legal issues related to commercial leasing, commercial real estate purchases and sales and commercial mortgage transactions for corporations, individual and financial institutions.
John was previously the Associate Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Bracknell Corporation, a publicly traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
John is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Essex Law Association and has been active on many community boards including Family Respite Services and Catholic Family Services Bureau.
